Official 1/28 Scale Racing Rules
SWFLRC Raceway follows the current 28SRA rule structure for class specifications, approved vehicles, electronics, tires, and racing standards.

General Raceway Rules
Race Format
- 2 qualifying rounds per class
- Best qualifying round determines main event seeding
- Ties are broken using second-best qualifying round
- Single A-Main format unless turnout requires multiple mains
- Race director decisions are final
Sportsmanship
- Clean racing and respectful behavior are expected at all times
- Intentional wrecking or aggressive driving may result in penalties or disqualification
- Drivers are required to marshal after their race
Batteries
- Maximum battery voltage is 8.44V for all 2S LiPo classes
- Only commercially manufactured hardcase LiPo batteries allowed unless class rules specify otherwise
- No battery modifications permitted
Electronics
- No traction control or gyro systems unless specifically allowed in the class
- All radio systems must be FCC compliant
- ESC timing and boost settings must comply with class rules
Tech Inspection
All vehicles are subject to inspection before, during, or after racing.
- Battery voltage
- Vehicle weight
- Ride height
- Motor legality
- Body legality
- Tire legality
- ESC settings
Vehicles failing inspection may be disqualified from qualifying or main events.
Marshaling & Track Conduct
- If you race, you marshal
- Failure to marshal may result in penalties
- No walking on the track during active races
- Wait for race control before entering the racing surface
