The Vanquish Products Hurtz Dig V2 Dig Unit adds three-position rear-axle control for technical terrain. Lock the rear axle to increase turning radius or freewheel it for improved climbing performance.

This updated design features a bearing-supported rear output that is cross drilled for through-pin style driveshafts. The drive components are machined from chromoly steel, while the attached servo mount supports straightforward installation.

Features

  • Three-position dig unit designed to increase vehicle capability while maintaining maximum strength
  • Rear output is bearing supported for improved driveline efficiency
  • Cross-drilled rear output works with through-pin style driveshafts
  • Rear output does not slide in and out, making driveshaft length easier to manage
  • Servo mount is attached to the dig case
  • Drive parts are made from chromoly steel
  • Total shifter travel for all three positions is 0.73 inches
  • A 24mm servo horn is recommended
  • Servo mount can use most standard-size servos
  • Lever-style shifter design does not require an expensive servo for reliable operation
  • A radio with an open auxiliary channel and programmable end points is needed for proper operation and to help prevent servo overheating

Compatibility

  • Compatible with Axial SCX10, SCX10-II RTR and AX10
  • May be used in Wraith by changing the transmission case
  • Works with stock Axial 3-gear transmission cases and Vanquish Products SCX10 transmission housings
  • Mounts onto any Axial 3-gear transmission case that uses a bolt-on metal motor plate
  • Not compatible with the Axial LCX 3-gear transmission or models equipped with the stock silver 3-gear transmission housing (AXI31531)
  • Futaba, Hitec and Tactic servos have been tested to fit, but not every model can be verified because servo case designs and offsets vary by manufacturer
