The Vanquish Products Currie Portal F9 SCX10 II Front Axle Kit is a direct replacement for an Axial AR44 axle and uses stock SCX10-II links. Its portal design adds 13mm of center pumpkin ground clearance while reducing gear load through the drivetrain.

Features

  • Portal box integrated into the included knuckle with a bolt-on high-steer arm for double-shear mounting
  • 1.67:1 portal gear reduction (18/30)
  • Optional 1.4:1 overdrive ratio (20/28), recommended for front axle use only
  • Included Vanquish AR44 machined gear set
  • Overall axle reduction of 6.26:1 with the stock portal ratio
  • 13mm increase in ground clearance
  • Offset C-hubs machined into the housing for strength, durability, clearance and scale appearance
  • 7.66-inch hex-to-hex width, roughly 5mm wider than a stock AR44 axle with a narrow hex
  • Replaceable Chromoly threaded inserts at the knuckle and C-hub
  • Brass knuckle bushings from the AR60 axles
  • Preassembled Chromoly AR60-size VVD axle shafts
  • Chromoly stub shafts with a 6mm drive-pin design tapering to a 5mm thread
  • Chromoly spool
  • Aluminum 12mm hex with set screw
  • Compatible with a stock SCX10-II chassis-mounted servo or F9 servo-on-axle mount
  • Adjustable steering stop integrated into the knuckle
  • Complete Fast Eddy Bearings kit
  • Licensed by Currie Enterprises
  • One Piece Bearing Retainers (Patent Pending)
  • Double-shear shock mounts
  • Integrated Panhard mount
  • Upper link mounts built into the third member
  • Increased upper link clearance for additional suspension up travel

Important Notes

  • Requires a 350 SLW hub or greater on Vanquish 1.9 wheels.
  • Incision wheels require a #4 or greater.
  • Wheel offsets from other manufacturers will vary.
  • Axles must be used in pairs; a front portal axle cannot be used without a rear portal axle, and vice versa.
