Tekno RC EB410 Composite Differential Gear Set

The Tekno RC EB410 Composite Differential Gear Set is a direct replacement for the original steel differential gear set (TKR6550). Each package upgrades one differential and reduces rotating mass and overall weight by 8.5 grams per set. Using three sets provides 25 grams of total weight savings and over 25 grams of rotating mass reduction.

Use Information

These composite gears are intended as a performance upgrade for the competitive 13.5 4wd class and may not be as durable as the stock counterpart. For learning to drive a 1/10 4x4 buggy, using a modified motor, or maximum durability, use the stock TKR6550 gears.

When installing and running the composite gears, reuse the blue diff gasket for a slightly tighter internal mesh and improved gear durability. Ensure the ring or spur gears are properly aligned and tightened before use. During a rebuild, use a dental pick or spring hook tool to gently lift the gears from the bottom of the differential case; do not use pliers.
