Team Associated Factory Team 12mm V2 2mm Shock Pistons provide a tuning option for 12mm off-road shocks. This set includes four 2mm-thick pistons with 2x1.7mm hole valving.

Compared with standard 2.5mm-thick pistons, the shorter 2mm design allows faster fluid flow, reducing damping and pack for improved bump handling and a more forgiving feel. Use them when tuning for less pack, better bump handling, or slower responsiveness.

Tuning Notes

• Useful for increasing grip on low-traction dirt tracks.
• Suitable for high-traction tracks with bumps or when a more forgiving overall feel is desired.
• Can help make a car less responsive when running lightweight LCG batteries.
• Team Associated shock oil can be increased by +2.5wt to +5wt when using the 2mm pistons.
