The Tamiya Electric Microcomputer Robot Kit (Crawler Type) combines hands-on assembly with programmable robotics. Based on the Cam-Program Robot design, this crawler uses a BBC micro-bit computer and ultrasonic sensor to detect and avoid obstacles with pre-installed code.

The robot can be customized with programs downloaded or created on a PC. Remote control is also supported with an extra micro:bit, making this kit suitable for STEM learning and classroom activities.
