The Tamiya BBX 2WD Off-Road Buggy Kit combines a redesigned BB-01 chassis with a one-piece monocoque frame and roll cage. Its 1/10-scale layout features independent suspension, a rear-mounted motor position, and a 0.7mm polycarbonate body with an 1980s-inspired design.
The chassis uses front double wishbone suspension and rear trailing arms inspired by full-size UTVs. Full ball bearings, universal drive shafts, a TA06 rear ball differential, oil-filled shocks, and metal-plated bead lock type wheels support the buggy's off-road design. The removable rear cage provides access for maintenance.
