Scale By Chris Toyota SR5 Grille (Pro-Line SR5)

Add a detailed Toyota SR5 grille to your Pro-Line SR5 body with this 3D-printed Scale By Chris accessory. The grille features hand-painted silver light buckets drilled for 5mm LED lights and measures approximately 163x26.5mm.

Installation

Installation requires cutting an approximate 152.5x20.5mm opening in the front of the body. Test-fit the grille repeatedly while removing small amounts of material until it is centered and fits tightly. Shoe Goo or a similar adhesive can be used to secure the grille.

The original Lexan grille pieces can be used as templates for making light bucket lenses from clear flat Lexan sheet or other clear plastic. Silicone is recommended for securing the lenses. Install 5mm LED lights with Shoe Goo or a similar adhesive.

As with most 3D-printed parts, light finish work may be needed. Carefully remove small strings or stray layer lines with a sharp hobby knife.
