Add scale detail to an Axial AXID9047 build with these glue-in tail light buckets from Scale By Chris. The buckets include pre-installed 5mm 12V LED lights, with red and amber LEDs for brake and running light functions.

Installation

Keep the tail light area of the body clear when painting. After painting, mask the individual brake and blinker sections and use clear red and yellow candy-colored paints for the lens areas. Once dry, secure the light bucket with silicone and hold the 5mm LEDs in place with shoe goo or a similar adhesive. Rubberized glue may also be used to secure the buckets.

As with most 3D printed items, some light finish work may be needed. Carefully remove small strings and stray layer lines with a sharp hobby knife.
