The Robinson Racing "Aluminum Pro" 48P Pinion Gear features precision-machined 7075 grade aluminum construction with a super hard jet black anodized finish. The finish hardens the surface, helps protect against corrosion, and reduces friction and adhesion between the pinion and spur gears.

This 34T pinion has a 3.17mm (1/8 inch) bore and is recommended for on-road use, though it can also be run off-road. The tooth number is stamped on the gear, and one 5-40 set screw is included.
