Compatibility Notes

This battery is intended for transmitters using a 4x4 AA battery tray. It is compatible with some Futaba and JR aircraft and helicopter transmitters with modifications. Futaba air transmitters require the positive and negative leads to be swapped because KO radios use reverse polarity compared to Futaba radios. For some JR air transmitters using the small white battery connector, the ProTek RC transmitter adapter PTK-5221 can be used; polarity reversal is also required.

Installation and Charging

Use suitable foam to pad the battery in the transmitter compartment and prevent movement. This pack must be balance charged with a Li-Poly-specific charger. Do not use NiMH or NiCD-only chargers.

• Do not leave the battery in the model when charging.
• Do not leave the battery unattended while charging.
• Always balance charge the battery in a LiPo charging bag.
• Do not over-discharge or over-charge the battery.
• Do not charge or store the battery above 35°C or in a closed car.
• If the battery becomes hot, allow it to cool completely before inspection and recharging.
