ProTek RC 14x25.4x6mm Ceramic MX-Speed Rear Engine Bearing

The ProTek RC 14x25.4x6mm Ceramic MX-Speed Rear Engine Bearing is intended for engines requiring a 14x25.4x6mm rear bearing, including the O.S. VZ-B V-Spec, 30VG, original Novarossi P5 and 421B, Picco P3 .28, and Axe Rossi Cobra off-road competition engines.

Features

• MX-Speed precision ball race design centers the balls in the bearing race for increased load capability and smooth rotation under side and radial loads.
• Reinforced PA46 nylon cage material is designed to withstand high nitro content fuel and excessive temperatures. The material has been subjected to Heat Distortion Temperatures of 554°F without failure.
• Hybrid ceramic construction with stainless steel outer races, Si3N4 silicone nitride ceramic balls, and a polymide inner race.
• Ceramic construction provides reduced weight, higher RPM capabilities, corrosion and wear resistance, and reduced friction and vibration compared with standard steel bearings.
• Hybrid bearings are rated to reach a resistance level of 1,200,000dN with grease lubrication.
• Ceramic components are 60% lighter than steel.
• Hybrid bearing service life is stated as 3 to 5 times longer than steel in comparable working conditions.
• Ceramic construction offers low friction, high rigidity, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance.

Installation Note

Install this bearing with the balls facing the rear of the engine, toward the backplate, to allow proper lubrication.
