The MyTrickRC DG-1 Power Adapter (Traxxas) lets you power the DG-1 directly from a battery with a Traxxas connector. It also improves the water resistance of the DG-1 battery connection.
The adapter can remain attached to the chassis and connect to the battery cable from your ESC. When you connect the battery to your truck, the DG-1 is automatically connected to power.
