LiPo Safety Information

  • Always balance charge lithium polymer batteries using a Li-Poly-specific charger.
  • Do not leave the battery unattended while charging or leave it in the model during charging.
  • Always use a LiPo Safe charging bag or box.
  • Do not over-discharge or over-charge the battery. End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2V per cell.
  • Discharging capacity should not exceed 80% of the pack's maximum capacity after full charging.
  • Fully charge a new battery before use and discharge it only 50% for the first 5 cycles.
  • Do not expose the battery to sunshine or store or charge it above 35°C or in a closed car.
  • If the battery becomes hot during charging, discharging, or racing, allow it to cool completely for about 20 minutes before inspection and recharging.
