Gear Mesh Note

For the X-Maxx, do not use the pin system to set gear mesh. Remove the pins and manually set the mesh using the four 4x16mm button-head cap screws on the bottom. Loosen the screws, place a narrow strip of notebook paper into the gear mesh, slide the motor and pinion gear into the spur gear, then tighten the screws and remove the paper. A fresh strip of paper should pass through the gears without binding. Refer to the Traxxas manual for instructions on adjusting gear mesh.
