The CRC 64P "16 Ball" Pan Car Spur Gear is a 72T spur gear for pan car applications. It uses 16 3/32" differential balls instead of 6 to 12 1/8" balls, increasing surface contact area to reduce weight and maintenance requirements.
The increased contact area also means less tension is needed on the differential nut to help keep the differential from slipping.
