LiHV Battery Safety

• Do not leave the battery in a model while charging.
• Never leave lithium batteries unattended while charging.
• Always balance charge lithium batteries in a LiPo Safe charging bag or box.
• Use a Li-Poly specific charger; NiMH or NiCD-only chargers will not work.
• Do not over-discharge or over-charge the battery.
• Discharging capacity cannot exceed 80% of the pack's maximum capacity after full charging.
• Fully charge a new battery before use and discharge it only 50% for the first 5 cycles.
• Monitor race time or set a low-voltage warning on the ESC. End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2V per cell.
• Do not expose the battery to sunshine or store or charge it above 35°C or in a closed car.
• If the battery becomes hot during charging, discharging, or racing, allow it to cool completely for about 20 minutes and inspect it before recharging.
