Castle Creations Talon 120HV Brushless ESC

The Castle Creations Talon 120HV Brushless ESC combines high-voltage input capability with an integrated BEC featuring selectable 6V or 8V output. It supports 3S-12S LiPo input and provides 120A continuous current capability for heli and fixed-wing applications.

Its aluminum case is designed to support cooling during high-power operation. A 40mm fan accessory is recommended for setups with low airflow, including installations under canopies or in a fuselage. Castle Link USB programming capability provides access to software functions; remove the BEC power wire from the receiver before connecting to Castle Link.

Usage Notes

The 120A rating applies to the duration of a single 10,000 mAh battery pack with the ESC in contact with a 5 mph airflow of 25C (77F) or cooler air. Controller temperature must not exceed 100C (212F). Always verify system current draw at full throttle and confirm servo current draw before the first flight.
