The Castle Creations Sidewinder SW4 Waterproof 1/10 ESC/Motor Combo combines a Sidewinder 4 ESC with a 1410-3800kV sensored motor for a range of 1/10 applications. The ESC supports sensorless brushless and brushed motor operation and features Castle CRYO-DRIVE technology.

Usage Notes

The 1410-3800kV motor is intended for short course trucks on 2s LiPo weighing up to 6.5 lbs and may be used on 3s LiPo with very conservative gearing. It can also be used in lighter 1/10 scale 2WD stadium trucks and buggies on up to 3s LiPo.

Although the Sidewinder 4 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged. Rinse the ESC with clean water after exposure to corrosive materials or dirt, and confirm that the rest of the vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis, is waterproof before exposing it to liquids.

A brushless or brushed motor and battery connector are required for operation. Castle 4mm polarized connectors, Dean's Ultra Plug, or Traxxas Power Connector are recommended. Castle Link USB adapter, Castle Link Windows software, and Field Link Card are sold separately.
