The Castle Creations Phoenix Edge 80HV 50V 80-Amp ESC provides programmable control, data logging, and a user-configurable auxiliary wire for selected helicopter and fixed-wing applications.

• The white auxiliary wire supports helicopter governor gain input adjustments mid-flight, an audible beacon after an “unexpected landing,” RPM output for 3-axis gyros that support RPM sensors, ESC arming lock, or receiver arming lock.

Installation Notes

• Battery and motor connectors sold separately.
• A soldering iron and solder are needed to attach bullets to motor wires and the battery connector to power wires.
• The 80-amp rating applies for the duration of a single 5,000 mAh battery pack with the ESC in contact with a 5 mph airflow of 25C (77F) or cooler air.
• Controller temperature must never exceed 100C (212F). Always verify system current draw at full-throttle.
