Castle Creations Mamba X Waterproof 1/8 Brushless Combo

The Castle Creations Mamba X Waterproof 1/8 Brushless Combo pairs a Mamba X ESC with a redesigned 1515-2200Kv V2 sensored motor. It supports Sensored, Sensorless, and SmartSense™ running modes, with a 2S-6S LiPo input range for the ESC.

The ESC features a waterproof CNC aluminum housing with integrated capacitors, a thermally controlled removable cooling fan, built-in data logging, audible and LED alerts, and an auxiliary wire for on-the-fly adjustments. Programming is supported through Castle Link USB or the optional B-LINK™ Bluetooth Adapter.

Mamba X setups frequently hit 100+ amps in peaks, and not all LiPos are created equal. Surge ratings should never be used to determine a pack's suitability for a brushless application. Recommended battery capacity for 1:10th and 1:8th scale vehicles is 5000mAh. Castle Creations recommends using 30C continuous discharge or higher LiPo batteries, or high quality 25C batteries such as Traxxas® Power Cell.
