The Castle Creations Mamba Micro X2 Waterproof 1/18th Scale Brushless Combo pairs a Mamba Micro X2 ESC with an 0808-4100Kv brushless sensorless motor for 1:18 scale RC vehicles weighing up to 2.25 lbs. The ESC supports 2S-4S LiPo input, while the motor is rated for 2S-3S LiPo and 4-9 cell NiMH operation.

Installation Notes

The battery input wires are bare, so a battery connector must be added. Castle recommends Castle 4.0mm Polarized Connectors, Deans Ultra Plugs or XT60 connectors, with a high-current connector rated for at least 40 amps. A minimum recommended battery capacity for 1:18 scale vehicles is 1500mAh.

Although the Mamba Micro X2 is waterproof, it is not intended for completely submerged operation. Rinse the ESC with clean water after exposure to dirt or corrosive materials, and confirm that the rest of the vehicle is waterproof before using it around liquids. Do not exceed 180° F on the motor or ESC. Applying more than 16.8 volts can cause irreparable damage and void the warranty.
