Castle Creations 8S CapPack 1680UF Capacitor Pack (35V)

The Castle Creations 8S CapPack 1680UF Capacitor Pack helps reduce ripple voltage in high-voltage brushless motor applications. It uses three 560µF, 35V capacitors for a total capacitance of 1680µF and can be used with up to 8-cell LiPo batteries.

Install the CapPack on the battery wires as close to the ESC as possible. Multiple CapPacks of the same type and voltage may be used in one application. For batteries greater than 8S (35V), use the 880µF, 50V CapPack.

Applications

• Surface vehicles: Helps support high-performance RC cars and trucks, including drag racing and high-speed applications.
• Helicopters: Highly recommended for 500 class and smaller heli applications where Y harnesses, long wires and hard collective pulls can contribute to voltage ripple.
• Fixed-wing aircraft: Helps address ripple caused by added battery wire length, including up to 12 inches of added battery wire length.
